Debbie’s heart for taking the Word of God to her neighbors began at a very early age. Her first Bible Study members were neighborhood children who sat on benches, as she taught from her bedroom window – using dolls and stuffed animals. Debbie’s love for evangelism eventually led her to teach and disciple friends in high school and college, where her passion for “spiritual multiplication” started. Debbie understood early that as she encourages and equips women to grow in their relationship with Christ, they become encouragers and equippers to others, and multiplication continues.

When Debbie and her husband moved into a neighborhood in Roswell, GA, in 1985, she began praying for opportunities to share Christ’s love with her neighbors.  God soon led Debbie to teach a women’s Neighborhood Bible Study.  Through the years Debbie has mentored and challenged other women to create neighborhood studies where women can begin and grow in a relationship with Christ, and now more than 50 NBS groups have begun meeting.

The process of multiplication continues as hundreds of women are growing in their faith through NBS, lives and families are changing, and neighborhoods are being transformed into caring communities.  In 2010, God told Debbie, “I am awakening an unprecedented number of hearts in neighborhoods, and I have given you the passion, years of experience, and simple tools to help encourage and equip women to grow and multiply Neighborhood Bible Studies globally.” Debbie shared the vision with her core team of NBS leaders, and together with God’s guidance, and prayer and fasting, God impressed upon them to create the NBS2GO website in 2011.

Debbie and her husband Mark have been serving with Cru, (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ) since 1976. They have 2 married children and are enjoying their new adventure of being Pa Pa and Dee Dee to Maddox and Joshua! The McGoldricks give leadership to the Atlanta marketplace ministry of Cru. Debbie has served as a National Leader within Cru, is the founder of NBS2GO, and teaches and speaks worldwide on loving God, His Word and neighbors.

“My heart is that women will come to love reading the Word of God, that they will experience God personally as they study His Word, and that their lives will be transformed as the Holy Spirit empowers and equips them.  I love watching women share for the first time in a Neighborhood Bible Study how relevant and personal God’s Word is to their lives – it creates a thirst for God’s Word that becomes contagious!”
